Nteract, Another Great Tool for Data Science
Since I rely on Atom editor really a lot for daily stuffs, and one inconvenience is that I can not preview my
.ipynb files inside Atom. When I was googling for
.ipynb support in Atom, I encountered github:jupyter/atom-notebook. However, the repo is not under maintenance currently. Following the
README.md hints provided by [github:jupyter/atom-notebook], I reached Nteract.
Nteract is a desktop version application with cross-platform support for macOS, Linux and also Windows.
Just like all other desktop apps, after installation, double click and do your task.
Inside Atom editor, just install Hydrogen. Hydrogen for Atom is also developed by the nteract team.
apm install hydrogen
python3 -m pip install ipykernel python3 -m ipykernel install --user
install.packages(c('repr', 'IRdisplay', 'evaluate', 'crayon', 'pbdZMQ', 'devtools', 'uuid', 'digest')) devtools::install_github('IRkernel/IRkernel') IRkernel::installspec()
